About the Aberdeen Chamber
The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization who's purpose is to advance the civic, commercial and industrial and agricultural interests of the city of Aberdeen, Maryland.
“Our strength lies within our members and we can only be successful if we join forces to achieve the goals of the entire group.”
Our goal is to promote the general welfare of the city and it's subdivisions.
Our History
The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce was first organized in the 1918's at the same time that Aberdeen Proving Grounds became a part of the Aberdeen Community.
In 1989 the Chamber was reactivated under a new charter. There have been a wide variety of presidents and 3 past presidents are still on our board today.

In 1997 the City of Aberdeen, was recognized by the National Civic League, sponsored by the Allstate Foundation, as one of only 10 US communities to be awarded the prestigious All American City Award.
Since 1949 the Award has honored communities of all sizes for extraordinary civic accomplishments made possible by the cooperative efforts of business, government, volunteers and citizens of a community.

General Meetings/Luncheons
These are held each month, except July and August, on the 3rd Tuesday, between 11:30 and 1:30pm. It is your opportunity to mix with other businesses and government officials. Listen to speakers on relevant topics that are important to the members’ present or future situations.
RSVP on line, email or by phone by noon the Friday prior, allowing proper counts to be submitted to or hosts, insuring proper seating and food allotments. Registration maybe transferred to another person if needed. Lack of attendance will still generate an invoice for payment.
When you sponsor an event, come early, bring any promotional material to hand out, or place on tables, prepare to present to the group about your business in any way you feel comfortable. If you network, or AV equipment is needed, prior notification must be provided to Jeanette, so details are secured.

Membership Dues are $125.00 annually. You can add Associate members from your business at $60.00 annually.
