A Message from our Director
January 2012 is starting with a bang.
We have had 2 great events and are busy working on a year full of new and exciting offers for you.
Check out the “what you missed” allowing you to stay informed.
Steve Johnson is settling in as new chamber President while Louise Costello has stepped up to Vice President.
I am busy working on our 2012 directory with the help of Axtell publishing, Prize WebWorks, and 2 board members as committee support. We’re stepping up our directory and giving it a new look and feel. If you're behind on your dues, or know businesses that are considering joining the Aberdeen Chamber, now is the time to get back on track. This will allow your business to be in print along with the web and all links to your site.
We have established a new logo for the Chamber, thanks to Matt and Brand3Design. Matt has offered his talents and services to give us a fresh look, while continuing to show support and branding of our fair city. We will be using the basis of the branding from the cities campaign, so look for our new logo on the web and in print.
These are only a few of the new things we are looking to do in an effort to show our continued support of the community, its business and our future.
It is my desire to create new events this year. I am always looking for volunteers to help with these events. No long term commitments, just a little of your time to make these ideas come to life.
Presently, the help of Joyce Duffy, Harford Family House, we are looking into a member’s benefits program. The program would help to drive new clients to your business, by you making a special offer to them. Any paid member can participate in this program along with each of their employees. So when you get a call or visit from Joyce or myself, we are just looking for another means to help your business grow.
If you can’t wait for us, give a call or shoot over an email and we’ll get to you first.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
Jeanette Lucas
